Punta Mita Experiences offers the most popular yacht charters, sport fishing, marine tours, and private experiences in Puerto Vallarta and Punta Mita! In order to accommodate each of our guests, all of our marine experiences are exclusive, reservations-only. We want to ensure that you and your family have the chance to experience the awe found in nature, marine wildlife, and the excitement of discovery that our yacht charters and marine adventures offer. For this reason, we maintain small tour groups - so book your experience today! Our secure credit card reservation system makes it easy.

Cancellations and Changes

In order to maintain our commitment to all of our guests, Punta Mita Experiences operates a strict cancellation policy:

Weather Cancellation Policy

Safety First Policy:

Full refund or reschedule if weather conditions are deemed unsafe by our captain. Safety is our top priority, and we reserve the right to cancel marine activities due to adverse weather conditions, high winds, or rough seas.

  • Weather cancellations by Punta Mita Experiences receive full refund or free rescheduling
  • Decisions are made by certified captains based on marine safety standards
  • Alternative dates offered with no additional charges

For Cruise Ship Guests

Special Cruise Policy

Full refund if the cruise ship misses port or is canceled, up to the day of cruise arrival. We understand that cruise schedules can change unexpectedly, and we work with our cruise guests to ensure flexibility.

Payment and Billing

Charges to your Credit or Debit Card

Your credit card will be charged as soon as your order is placed on Punta Mita Experiences' official website - this is typically reflected in your account within 24 hours. If the date that you choose is unavailable, Punta Mita Experiences will offer an alternative day or time.

Prices and Exchange Rates

Prices are quoted and charged in US dollars (USD). All marine experiences and yacht charters are priced in USD for international guests.

Additional Fees
  • Port/Marina Fees: $5 USD per person (paid directly at marina)
  • Fuel Surcharge: May apply for extended yacht charters
  • Gratuity: 15-20% recommended for crew (voluntary)

Credit Card Safety & Security

Punta Mita Experiences wants you to feel safe when making a secure reservation online. For this reason we use Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology to encrypt your credit card and other sensitive information when you make reservations for our marine experiences. The process of encryption prevents unauthorized individuals from viewing your information as it is securely transmitted over the internet. Once received, your credit card information is not transmitted over the internet again.

Liability and Guest Responsibility

Important Liability Information

Marine activities involve inherent risks. Guests participate at their own risk and must sign liability waivers before boarding. Punta Mita Experiences maintains comprehensive marine insurance but guests are responsible for personal property and must follow all safety instructions from crew members.

Guest Responsibilities
  • Arrive at designated meeting point 30 minutes before departure
  • No excessive alcohol consumption before or during marine activities
  • Follow all crew instructions and safety guidelines
  • Provide accurate contact information and emergency contacts
